Three finalists, four medalists, and one OW for the Bulldogs at Sactown Showdown

A last minute entry for the Tracy bulldogs at the West Campus (Sacramento) varsity tournament saw six wrestlers compete against mostly Sacramento area wrestling teams and came away with four medals.

Consolation champion (7th place) for Conner Lanthier.

Second place finish for Alex Gougousis.

Tracy Junior is Champion at Lou Bronzan

Tracy High’s Eli Blackwell was the champion at 132lb weight class at the 2-day varsity Lou Bronzan tournament at Liberty High School in Brentwood, CA. The following is the Tracy Press coverage of that event. In addition to Eli, freshman Anthony Nunes finished with a 5th place medal.

How wrestling can benefit youth football players

We have posted links to articles in the past that espoused the great benefit wrestling is to athletes who participate in other sports. Football is a commonly linked sport.
